"adult" gumball machine stickers!

Postby buzzojoe » Tue Feb 19, 2013 12:58 pm

Has anyone else noticed the guy selling the "stripper girl" and nude gumball machine decals with Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, John Deere, Pepsi, etc.?
I'm REALLY surprised that the soda company lawyers haven't jumped all over this! Sometimes it seems a little extreme when Coke or Pepsi goes after some guy who is putting their logo on something like a pedal car, but in this case I think it's pretty bad that the guy is using their logos with pictures of nude women. Hey, I like beautiful women as much as the next guy, but I don't know if Coca cola should be advertised by a cartoon of a stripper spread eagle....

Yes I have noticed the trade named stickers. A few years ago I was selling Coca Cola themed gumball machines on eBay for a friend. A company which I won't name threatened me with a lawsuit for selling a copyrighted product. They said that they have the exclusive rights to sell Coke related products on eBay. This company also sets up at the Chicagoland show. I did find this information on eBay regarding trademarks.
