The machine is missing a jackpot. It is obvious in the pictures but the seller (midwesternpicker) does not really disclose it clearly in his description.
I sent a message to the seller and man he went totally ballistic on me, calling me every name in the book and even dropping the F-Bomb.
He proceeded to tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that it was very common for machines from the 30's to have what he calls display jackpots.
To his credit, someone else asked for more photos and said the jackpot does appear to be missing and he did post that question but he refused to update the listing to make it more clear that the jackpot was missing.
He is also one of those sellers that says the machine has issues but they are easy fixes. Don't you just love it when people say that? If the fix is so easy, why doesn't the seller do it?
FYI, the machine also has the totally incorrect handle. I have not told him that.

So anyway, if you are thinking about bidding on this machine I just thought you might want to know.
