Coin Pusher Machine

Postby leospanner » Mon Jan 06, 2014 3:36 pm

I recently purchased a "Flip It" coin pusher. I don't think it was ever used for actual gambling as it only had simple turn mechanism's to keep the doors closed, not key entry mechanism's like on a slot machine or other coin op machine. It appears like it could be from the late 80s or early 90s, but I can't seem to find any identification plates or stickers. Can anyone out there help me with who the actual manufacturer is, if they're still in business, or any other information you might have on this machine would be greatly appreciated.

I bet That use to be my machine. I changed it from locks to those "RV cabinet latches" because I was constantly having to clear coins out of the 5 or 6 coin mechs because my kids would shove coins In them so quickly. I bought the machine from a guy who had worked for the company that made them. I think if you look on the electrical stuff inside the lower door the name of the company is there. From what I understand the company that made them owned them and never sold them or leased them. They just put them into the casinos and did a "money split" with the casinos. The company went under in the late 80s if I remember correctly. The guy who sold it to me promised me a service manual for it, but never came through with it. I could never find any spare parts for it or anything. My kids had a blast playing it for years, but after they grew up I sold it to make room for some other games in the rec room.

Looks to be a payout unit from a Bally EM slot.
