Mills QT regent reels change question

Hi Everybody
I was wondering if someone could help me with my Mills QT regent reel changing. The QT doesn't have reel strips which are changed like my Mills Hi top 777 slot. There are no tin edges to crimp. What is the proper technique to change the reels on a QT?

I would say you need to use contact cement just like the vest pocket slot strips.
