appears to be a straight, original machine.
i would inquire as to whether the jackpot mechanism is complete.
ask for pic's of the inside of cabinet.

"sold as is, because it seems like the spring is loose"………yea, right.

minor: replacement lock, spring missing off payout detecting finger, wing nut and goose head screws that help secure the mechanism are missing (I actually had a hard time finding good replacements for these on a Jennings goose neck).

more serious: the left side clamp that holds the main operating lever in place is missing.
The bar that goes along the back of the reel strips is missing, along with the items that would be attached to that bar: the reel brake rods and the payout disk lock lever.

There is a lever attached to the right side of the cabinet; below the sticker and just in front of the mechanism lock lever.
Off hand, I don't know what that is, but looks like it's been added on.

Not a bad price depending on what else might be wrong inside, but it's going to take more than a spring to get it back in shape.

Really surprised no one has commented on the outragous shipping price of $375. Depending on what the machine sells for, possibly over 50% of the cost of the machine????

I just wanted to thank everyone that responded to this post. I am very new to slot collecting and I am trying to learn as much as I can. The knowledge here is just unbelievable.

As for the Jackpot, I would venture to say that it is complete, as it shows full of coins.
If it were empty, it could be iffy, but it doesn't hurt to ask for more pix anyway. I also
noticed the parts missing, and that extra piece that doesn't belong, that was mentioned
above, but the parts that are missing, are pretty easy to come by. The main thing, is that
this machine is original, and complete, except for the few small parts, and is a perfect
candidate for restoration. The price is on the border for condition. Would rather it be
closer to $850. Seller doesn't list shipping chgs., but has 'local pickup'. I also question
the sellers negative feedback. In a situation like this, I would want to do cash-and-carry.
