Hi
Is it better to take the case apart or not take it apart when doing restoration work on the outside?
And has anyone ever taken their machine to Montana Slot or C.A. Restorations for restoration work?
Thinking about using one of them in case I can't do it myself.
I did get an estimate on my machine from a person in southern California and he's asking $2400 (40 hours X $60 an hour) and that doesn't include restoring the case. I think this guy doesnt work on many vintage mechanical slot machines and therefore works real slow. Theres another place up in the San Francsco area also does very good restoration work on machines but I heard they are just as expensive as the other down in southren california. Is there anyone who know how to restore these machines here in California that's reasonable.
Thanks, Denny
