Mr. Marsall Fey - what a super nice gentleman

I bought a book by Marshall Fey on Amazon and replied to the seller ("Liberty Belle Publishing") about a typo. Much to my surprise, Mr. Fey himself wrote back. What a super nice person.

I hope to make a trip to Reno to view the Liberty Belle museum and see the original, very first Liberty Bell by his grandfather, Charles Fey.

Has any one else had the privilege of meeting Mr. Fey?

Have not met the gent but did correspond with him through flebay and he definitely was a first class gent !

Marshall is a very nice guy. I have met him on multiple occasions and visited him in Reno before he sold the majority of his collection (sold via VCA in 2006).

When I was actively selling machines I would always give the buyer one of Marshalls "first 100 years" books. Those books have lots of nice photos and has probably been the cause of more than one person getting hooked onto coin-op

About a year ago, I purchased his book, Slot Machines: A Pictorial History of the First 100 Years, on Amazon. He wrote me a personal note letting me know he had upgraded my order to the latest edition and then thanked me for the purchase/interest. Nice guy!

In 2003 we were lucky enough to be in Reno and having lunch at the Liberty Belle Saloon. Mr. Fey took his time and gave us a grand tour of his machines displayed throughout the restaurant
and then his private upstairs ( slot machine heaven). Just what a super kind of guy he is. Randy and Caroline Miller

he wrote the BEST book on slots early on...and it's STILL the best book, even though numerous other authors have tried to unseat him from his crown....and yes, what a super guy marshall is! a real treasure.
