MAJOR EBAY WARNING !!!!!!!!!!!

Someone is posting auctions on the Ebay vending sites that are bold and say nude pictures of his wife. I went to click on it to get the Item Number to report it to Ebay. DO NOT CLICK ON IT. It is a PHISING SITE. IT WILL STEAL YOUR EBAY PASSWORD.

I have never seen this before. I do not even know how to report it. If I saw fake auctions, I would click on them to report the Item Number to Ebay. Lucky my PHISSING SOFTWARE picked it up.

Thanks for moving it. I did not realize there was an ebay catagory. This one really scares me.

In the past few weeks you might have noticed Plasma TVs in the coin-op listings. THEY WERE ALL SCAMS. Someone had their ID stolen, and the guy lists those big ticket items to try to scam someone.

This one is real clever. This is a listing, that looks normal, but when you click on it, it asks for your password. It got me. I quickly changed my password.

What I recommend. Sign into EBAY from www.ebay.com. Unless your bidding, DO NOT EVER ENTER your password again. Always lookeat the http line to see that you were not misdirected. You should never have to enter you password to view an auction.

My free AOL phising software did alert me, and if they didn't I would have been a victum. This was a really good one. I did contact Ebay and the auction is gone. However I am sure it will be back.

Ebay may have taken this down. I went into vending without signing in to do a search. Key words such as wife & nude came up without anything.

Ebay did take the one I saw down. My concern is that they were able to post an auction that when you clicked on the auction, it took you away from Ebay to their site. It then showed an fake Ebay Screen that you might mistake for real. I have seen a lot of BS Auctions from Stolen accounts, but this was the first that actually took you away from the Ebay site.

categories. When members click on them, they are taken to a fake sign-in
page. This is a new type of spoof. We usually detect that type of
listing almost immediately, so the auction has most likely been removed.

Recently I bid and lost on a trade stimulator. Today in my email I received a second chance offer. Looking at the return address it was in the UK. The messsage stated that for security reasons the winning bidder was eliminiated. The crooks are out there!!

Never Re-enter your information....If you are logged into ebay already, you should not have to log in again...never trust a second chance offer if it isn't in your My eBay Messages...Just like Paypal. They already know who you are, etc. So you should never re-enter your user name and password.
The 3 jacks machine I just bought...the guy wanted me to paypal him the money...I had him log into his paypal account and then request the money from me. And put the 3 jacks information in the message. Then I received the request and the description of what it was for, so I sent the money. I would not just send the money to his address...At least this way I had proof of the transaction.
