Didnt really help but thx, what I'm really interested in seeing is how the RSV works. I get the basic idea of it but fail to see how the RSV door drops back far enough to drop whatever coinds get stuck in it. Ok, my main issue before may have been that it just wast latched right which I don't believe it was or I may even be missing parts from it, but lets for a minute assume I have a complete system with RSV pieces. Manually tripping the jackpot and moving whatever pieces I can doesnt seem to swing the RSV door back to drop its load.Dave wrote:Go to http://www.ibuyoldslots.com/dvd/ and click on the jackpot video. You might get enough information from this excerpt to get what you need.
I dont have the money for it right now or I would most likely take you up on the offer. Now this may seem like a half assed question given what you said about the DVD but does it specifically show how the RSV JP works including on just how the "door" moves.Dave wrote:The reserve jackpot on a mills machine is fairly tricky. Several levers and latches which are all interconnected are required to make it work.
The slot machine restoration DVD set that I sell has a very detailed section on the jackpot.
I normally don't break up the set but if you want to purchase just the DVD which covers the jackpot I would be willing to do that. The price would be $24.95 and that includes shipping and handling.
